hey, it looks different now. Now, HDB need us to choose the group of bto, not particular one project/building.
So does it mean if I choose building A, might ended up be given have to choose other building if building A is not avail anymore?
Is it like that?

It has been like this all along
Bedok has three projects in this launch, if you ballot for Bedok , you can't ballot for the other area
You ballot for 2r means you have chance to ballot for any of the three projects,
If ballot for 3r means only Bayshore vista is available and you have to get below 96 to qualify for unit selection (240 is the max queue no since that is 3x supply of the 80 available flat type)

Total of 476 2r flats under this area
Think queue no below 571 have chance

I don't know the average dropout rate ever since the new penalty kicks in
Maybe 20%? Used to be 40%

But now, the popular also be grouped together with others.
If i cannot get the one i choose, (and if i get q no), i lose my chances and must choose the one i don't want in other project.

yes for 2 room. cos for 2 room u can only rent out whole flat, not the bedroom only.

and they put for plus and prime projects, whole flat cannot be rented out. so assuming that this clause also applies to 2 room, hence 2 room cannot be rented out at all.

As far as I recalled, I ballot in 2016 and in 2017 but no such thing as I can choose the project I desired
Like in 2016, I ballot for punggol, there were two projects then
Then I ended up with 500+ which was within the supply of two projects combined

Cannot be. What might have happened is that in the June BTO u participated, that area might just be having that ONE project only, hence you remember it as choosing a project than an area. As pointed out by @1982-1994, it has been grouped by area for BTO one, not choose project by project.

If there are more than 1 plot in the same selection then yes, you have to choose between the 2 if 1 is not available.

Jurong west BTO site map. Block 134B. Stack 235 & 237 = Find it weird these 2 units even though facing the lake but got view blocked by stack 241(left) and stack 223 (right).

Am i missing sth ?
