Alot of different armour for Aloy , which armour should i get/upgrade/focus on to max?

depends on your playstyle. the game focus on story. weapons and armours are secondary and not very important.

which weapons and armours to use are entirely up to you. you can use default armour and weapon if you prefer. upgrade purple colours.

for my playstyle stealth, i use sharpshot and hunter bows as well as stealth skills.

for some they prefer melee so likely they will use warrior bows and ropecasters etc.

you only need a bow and a spear to complete the game. nothing else is important.
