Indeed but emerging market only represent about 10% of the FTSE All-World Index. So from a market exposure perspective there is no real significant diversification effect between those 2 index, the overlap is about 90%. There could be other reasons to want to diversify holdings across different ETFs providers though.

Not resident of a country with US tax treaty

Proof of Identity & DOB: Use NRIC
Proof of address: Use NRIC

Do I have to wait until I finish with the above 2 proof before I can fund it using the FAST/GIRO? Because all I see Bank Wire option for SGD deposits

"Bank wire" deposit in SGD is correct.

There is no specific option for FAST, but you can send SGD with a FAST transfer to the Citibank account number that they will give you if you choose to do a SGD "bank wire deposit notification". It's the fastest way to get the funds into your account.

(that Citibank account number will be specific to your IB account)
