Why MBKE? MBKE has discontinued their RSP recently. This one I am quite sure although I am not using it.

It's guaranteed to give you returns that are equal to the index minus the expense ratio (aka 'average' return). Most people are satisfied with that.

The general idea is good but the execution is far from customized to your needs and there are many other tools that Shiny doesn't go into as he isn't even in Singapore. So just learn the basics and improve from there.

Yes you are right. MBKE already discontinued.

But i found shiny's suggestion how to tackle this so all is good. Target allocations and rebalancing strategy follow closely to shiny's book

Point to note is if you are bent on buying es3, only the poems rsp offer this asset. MBH wise all 3 rsp in singapore offer it. So if you want to find an alternative for mbke, you may consider posb IS for Singapore stocks and bond

OR put it all in scb

Might be a good time to also familiarise with the following in ib assuming your ib account gets approved

- how to transfer funds
- how to convert currency (TWS to avoid that line?)
- how to place order
- understanding tiered versus fixed (saw that you are looking at 100k)

Posb dont offer es3. It is g3b too. For rsp, only poems share builder offer es3.

But if you following shinys book and what he mention here sometimes, the best alternative to mbke is posb rsp...
