This event is for the Apple Watch so yeah most of the coverage will be on Apple Watch
No rumours yet for Apple TV/iPod Nanos so very small chance of them releasing it
There's rumours about them introducing the new 12" MBA though so fingers crossed!
1 day and 20 hours remaining!

Why Singapore won't be in the first wave? We r always in the first wave

tim@apple.com

lul

If you look at the Apple Watch website, only the US one say "Coming Early 2015"
Everyone else is "Available in 2015"

So US is the first wave then other countries will follow

And Singapore being always in the first wave is not true with Apple Pay :o

Will be catching the live stream. I always catch the live stream of Apple events :s13:

Other than Apple watch, I'm hoping for:

Retina MacBook Air
iPad Mini 4 with laminated display(like Air 2) and A8 or A8X processor
A new Apple TV set top box
iPod Touch 6th Gen (it's a long shot)

US no need say lah, that one confirm first but Singapore definitely earlier than most other regions - those bigger countries in fact.

ApplePay is more of a service and not a product furthermore they need to work with merchants for this to work. I say they starting it in the U.S. is more of a trial to gather feedbacks before releasing to other regions.

I think it's because, for the first wave, Apple wants to retail the watches on its specially created display tables which are only available in its official Apple stores. If u look at the first wave countries, all of them have official Apple stores, not premium resellers like Spore.

And stuff like apple pay isn't in sg yet. Need local app also it as well. So the use case in SG is much lesser at the moment.

I just noticed that China is in the first wave. the 18k gold is clearly targeted at the china market.

the Apple Watch wasn't really the highlight for me. The new Macbook is more interesting but i'm sure this major rebuild of the macbook have some flaws, let's just wait and see....

I'm not too confident in the logic board design plus a single port for charging/USB/Video out, we see how that turns out.

It looks like the Macbook Air family is now replaced with the new Macbook. I got a good feeling the next Macbook Pro refresh will be something to look out for while they test the new processor/technology on the new Macbook first.

By the time the next Macbook Pro refresh is scheduled to release, they should have fixed any issues with related to these new components on the new Macbook.
