-cos u can gain currency exchange advantage
-save on gst
-i cud be wrong, but in taiwan they seems to have more option in the lenses.
-frame wise, its also different.

cos after i was back from taiwan, i went to sg owndays ssrr. what i wan (lense) they dun offer in sg. then n again, my requirement is uncommon due to my condition, not applicable to general specs users

my exchange rate back then was 22.4. if i had use alipay it will be 23.4

Surely their options are more.
Singapore purchasers always get the leftovers.

Nowadays even as early as May, can have typhoon right till end of October.
So if you want to travel, anything also good la.
You can siam typhoon, but you cannot predict Earthquakes.

lense quality wise soso nia. but for the price u are paying and if u are someone who like to change frame, owndays is good. ofc, if one hv "lobang" in china, china's digital lense is cheaper better and faster

the rest of the specs shops in taiwan, can be very cunning. so i would say stick to large franchise such as owndays.

i dunno the name, u just dig for location of hotel M, its also south of TMS. The map will show u a very small stretch of night market. only 1 / 2 store sell clothes. I got my clothes in taichung, tianjing road, quality is great. spoiled for choices

I skip xmd, so i cannot advise u.

loti arh? if u r at xmd, take a shop in carrefour. prices same same as sg, but the lengeth more choices, stimes hv promo, u get free loti pieces

i think i going to faint.. their summer is super hot.

While December - March is the low season, this is when to visit Taiwan if you want to travel on a budget, as there will be great discounts all over the country.

Can be as low as $70+ (2 way base fare + taxes)
Have flew many years during this period, see heng suay ...
luckily no flight delayed or cancelled ...

Spring immediately after CNY or between 10-15th day of Lunar new year is good.
Because of the festivals and the weather.
Cannot go wrong with that.

Taiwan has no street money changer.
Only in banks or shopping malls.
Shopping malls rate are the most unfavourable.

i changed $500 for 2 recently for taipei. eat and eat. still have lots left. if shopping in malls, can use credit cards.
