When u have super on the ball mods, like those siao-onz in NS... such things will happen.

Let it be lor, if ppl post codes, then it's your job to moderate/ban.

If ppl request quotes, why so jjww also?

It's an open public sharing forum afterall. Lock thread for a week is ridiculous honestly. :s22:

Studying for exams are more important than upping your moderator points in HWZ. :vijayadmin:

PS:
SPWS (non-AMI) bill for JAN2021: $38.35
Usage = 250kWh
Rate = $0.1534

Geneco offering 17.49₵/kWh (GST-Inclusive) for 24 months renewal. Still thinking of whether to recontract with them. Rates seems the best for 24 months contract.

Using about 750 to 800 kWh a month. Got on aircon at night. :D

Do you guys think i should change to SPWS?

Besides the rate Geneco offer u, any other discounts? If no then currently the SPWS rate range is from abt 0.14-0.15. Your usage is abt 750-800. Let say we take the rate from SPWS as 0.15. U minus Geneco's 17.49 with SPWS's 0.15, your saving for will be around 0.025/kwh. You multiply it with let say abt 780kwh average for usage. The saving per mth will be around $19.4. But do note that someone mentioned that SPWS got some charges for meter reading for $2-3 per mth. I think for your case is worth to try out SPWS. The saving for 24 mths will be around $400 after meter reading charges. If later the rates goes up for SPWS. U are not tied with a contract, just move to another OEM with cheaper rates. Hope my calculations for the above r correct if someone discovered any errors. Please kindly highlights it. Thanks!

your usage is quite high, I guess most come from aircon at night.

at night is off-peak hour

SPWS is good for you, you might get 13 cents or lower if using AMI meter.

Just called Geneco to tell the CSO I would like to switch to SPWS. The CSO said he will do the switch for me to be effective the next day after end of contract. Wah..seamless transfer. Very good service.

$100 rebate for 2 year contract is about $5 per month. Good for those with very very very low usage.

Yes,relatively low, and was quite apprehensive of spikes if any so went for the hassle free choice plus consolidated invoicing Tp.
Spws is the best for now, buti think the theory about trying out for a while to see ok or not also may end up somewhat hard since if spws raise price, the others will surely raise their contract pricing as well :s13:
but for now it is the lowest for sure

Wah, didn't realise that the retailer rates have dropped quite a bit since our family signed up for the 3 year contract with Keppel. Now stuck with the 17.68 cents/kwh rate until 2022. :s22:

Hi, are you using AMI meter? My household usage is similar to yours. My contract with iswitch end 9th March.

Sent from OnePlus GM1900 using GAGT
