Ohm's getting more ex this quarter at $0,237. Called their customer service and they do not have any promo. Likely to change to Union Power, their discount plan much affordable at 20% compared to Ohm's 10%. Furthermore, there's rebate for 1 and 2 years sign up, plus potentially lucky draw. When the new quarter tariff comes out, it may reduce and you get further saving from the discount plan.

If my tuas power contract is expiring this end Oct and I did not do anything, does it means it will continue with the current contract rate or they auto renew to the new rate? My current contract rate is $0.168 before GST, if renew contract is at $0.1944 before GST.

still cheaper than retail
unless Sept also rise.

New rates. Best is to jump to other if it is cheaper n you can get some rebates.

I've checked the price
SPWholesale price detail for the spike
the price spike really insane
ranges from WEP $/MWh for my date range (11Jul to 9th Aug)

Lowest 84.74
Highest 1908.53

Ranges for WEP $/MWh for 10th Aug to 22nd Aug (not bill yet)
so crossing my finger that will continue to stay low

Highest 496.02

Was it many players crying foul after many switch to SPWS?
How can SPWS suddenly just increased so bloody high in such short notice?
no matter demand how high, can it be this insane?

We were laughing at Texas during their electricity rate spike, thinking such things cannot happen in sg.
We were wrong. Even without winter, the rates spiked.
If you could trace the date and time of the spike, might be able to identify the cause of it. Was it during the flooding incidents?
I remember my house blackout twice in the past 2-3 months.
But I am on retail.
Are those spws half hourly rates available for public to check?

I think it's because of the recent hot weather, and the HA where dining outside weren't allowed. most will be staying/eating at home, thus the spike.

Contact going to expire in Nov. I am wondering whether should go for 12 months or 24 months. Any thoughts?
