Pts 5 and 6, so unprofessional. PAP should've hired a proper PR/spin doctor specialist. These 2 points alone will rile the affected community. Their R Card got force multiplier u know. PA very sure they're sufficiently protected?
Pts 9 and 10, not convincing. I've read their original statement after the fact. Quite high tai chi level attempted.
I only see as genuine mistake of not checking before using their photo as standee without permission. But it’s too far fetched to deem it as racist. So is using the Chinese police man standee stop theft racist too?
she should have known when to stop. her biggest mistake was drumming up everything towards racism, and getting the masses to garner support and channeling through to her social platforms. which is now used against her and setting her up as an attention seeker trying to leverage the issue to gain bigger social media following.
she forgot the pap establishments do not like to bring issues about race into the public masses forums/platform and prefer to do it closed doors etc (see shanmugam's previous statement when talking about the head dress issue)
The bride is opportunist, trying to use this incident, which obviously a careless mistake on PA's part, to force a racial issue. She even invite others to share with her more racial issues so she can bring it up during the meeting. How is it other people issue with race is PA's problem?
If u paid thousand$ for your wedding shoot n wedding, n one day pple use your wedding pics without permission, how wld u feel?
This is not abt the couple playing victim card, they shld be compensated, same if PA hv to pay n hired models or photo shoot for the hari raya banner.
so now it's not about cultural appropriation / race? but the real motive is money? if PA offered compensation, would you think it will solve the issue? or it will be used to frame it as trying to bury it with money or paying off the victims...
