Am happy with my PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4. Still have my CD games for PS1/2, and all digital games for PS3/4.

I will probably skip PS5 and wait for PS6, and see if there’s good reason to buy one.

Wait for switch 2/pro

There's actually the Switch Lite, which is just the Switch without the TV output and detachable side controllers. Some party games only work on the regular Switch, and the Switch Lite has lower battery life

If it does help to drive normal ps5 sales = ok la
Value = normal ps5 since it's damm easy to add 1tb in to be 2TB( open unscrew unscrew pop in nvme m2 screw pop cover back)

the exclusion of the disk drive is a low move.

there is no significant improvement that justified that USD699 price point,.. seriously i am very disappointed. I think the xbox is dying. so they can do whatever they pleased

i had owned all the PlayStation generation since the original . but i am not standing up for this. it's a total ripped off. I will just play on PC for non exclusive game.

i hope more people will not buy and send a message... or PS6 will be at USD1000, with little improvement

last time ps2 is successful is becos it can support all ps1 games

no need to rebuy new disc

but later they drop the support in ps3 pro onward

Natively, PS6 won't be backward compatible with PS3, 2 & 1 games, coz different custom SOCs. However, you can still play some PS3, 2 & 1 games on the PS5 (& likely PS6) through the PlayStation Plus subscription service, which offers a selection of classic games from previous PlayStation generations.

I'll hold onto my PS4, skip 5 and wait for 6 instead ... all while waiting to get a 5090 PC next year!
