They so obvious trying to push everyone to Qubbee side by reducing stuff on Qoo10 side..

Mamemons still can 'get' from the Qoo10 App, moi average 2 per day

:(

Quube side it keeps saying the mamemons is tmr, then finally tmr and it is tmr again. Seems like tmr never come... :s22:

Add: oh I managed to get one mamemon in Quube after typing this comment. That's very strange.

Any chance the Q*coins will drop price this month for AMEX? now its $145 :(

Did you guys realise that even though the buy price of the coins increase to $142 to $145, the exchange rate to use the coins remains at $142.8 for every 100 coins?

Technically speaking if the value increase, the conversion rate at the point of check out should also increase. So the increase from $142 to $145 is not an increase in value of the coin, but a 1.5% surcharge for selling the Qcoins to you.

Wah... that is very disgusting if my assumption is true... Any Qoo10 representative care to correct my assumption?

Not sure how u get the 1.5% surcharge. Basically i only transact when there is offer for Qcoins. example 10% discounf for qcoins.

So basically currently the rate now = 100 qcoins = $145.

Using AMEX card will give u $130.50

so 1 qcoin = $1.305

Let say example the cost of a SSD is SGD$47.40. Using Qcoins is $33.18

so if you use $1.305 * $33.18 = $43.30.

you nett nett you save SGD4.

So end state if you buy qcoins and keep and the actual qcoins price keep increase, actually it give your existing qcoins "more value" than before.

of course the savings would be more significant if you buy a bigger price items or have a coupon tag to it.

It's called a spread. Same thing if you buy currencies, gold etc. Just buy when you need the coins for something and it is cheaper to do so ....

not sure how you come to such an assumption

one unit of Qcoin now costs SGD1.45.
But the items sold, when converted from SGD to Qcoin, uses an exchange rate of 1 Qcoin = SGD 1.4285

so, this surcharge per Qcoin is $1.45 - $1.4285 = $0.0215
which is about 1.5%

so really no point in buying Qcoin cos the qoo10 gift vouchers offers 2% discount,
unless if there’s Amex 10% off
