Just my two cents. If your ID has a experienced/reliable plumber, I would let them handle the installation. WC is something we use several times every day. No point penny wise and pound foolish. Leaks etc, can't hold the ID side responsible.

Most customers are oblivious to it. U can talk all day like a reference check and if you are lucky, maybe you could get the answer you want or if you are not, you get the answers you wanted but not the job expected.

A lot of ID outsource such jobs ultimately it depends on your time too.

Not a pleasant installation experience. Recently bought magnum toilet bowls and installed by two foreign worker by magnum direct. Although it is stated free installation with valve and ss pipes, they asked me if wan to cut the water outle pipe as it is abit too long, so i said ok. But then later they demanded $40 for two small pipe connectors which cost at most $10 only. And they stuffed glove to fill the gap around the pan collar sealed with cement and glue, no silicon. I questioned them and they said its ok like that one. They also used cement to sealed the gap around the base of toilet bowl and not silicon. When questioned, they said silicon will get black over time. One thing is important is that the pan collar is not long enough to connect to my sewage pipe in the hole initally, so sewage water may seep into the cement layer underneath the tiles and cause leakage problem below you. I questioned them few times and asked if got longer pan collar then they went to get a longer one. Do monitor closely.

I bought Magnum 918 from qoo10 with 20% off..and free installation.
A Malaysian guy helps me to do the installation...not bad eh ...u kenna the trainee ar..or on site training...

S and P is the shape of the trap.
You need to measure the distance from the wall to the hole in the ground. Probably easier to measure from the ceiling where the pipes from upstairs are more visible. Since we can’t see the exact position of the hole/pipe due to the toilet bowl itself.

Unless you live top floor or have a difficult to access concealment done, then gg make a good guesstimate

The bowls will usually have a range of distance their trap can be adjusted so you don’t need to be exact in measurements.

I was charged. Handled by ID tho. And feels like the ID supplier (for other stuff) like to overcharge for items.

for those who using toilet bowl with coating(stainfree etc) , what cleaner u use to clean your toilet bowl? was told cannot use harsh chemical etc.

Bought magnum 935 after referencing info from here.
Installation was free, but they charged me for removal and disposal of 40.
Very satisfied flushing all the way.

I only know the flushing button is difference.
Wondering is there more then that, I did try to google.

I am looking at Magnum 918S and 928 models. Does anyone know whether the seat pan size is the same despite the length difference?

Was told between the two, only the tank size is different and no anti-bacteria coating on 928. Optically both seat covers look same despite a 10mm width difference, but I cannot find a store that have 928 physically to compare.
