Appreciate your update. Hopefully the system is up and running by my sailing date 3 Feb. Yeah, the Sequins & Feathers a bit boring as I watched better cabaret/Broadway style shows on Genting Dream before. I’m looking forward to the QOTS Orchestra but I’ll manage my expectations.
I think it was just a system hitch on 3 Jan so believe it was resolved. I went again for the live band on my third night and didnt enjoy as much as the night before - I think it is just the songs that they play and it may be to each person's liking. Enjoy your cruise on 3 Feb :)

The big portions of 3rd storey parking lots were converted for ART testing centers (For Dream cruise), so don't really have a lot of lots.
Oh ok. If I may ask did you go on in December or the Jan 3rd Cruise. so assuming aft ART test I head down at 12 noon. Would it be like 85% full?

thanks in advance

If you head down around noon, likely still have lots. Anything after 3pm will be very risky and you might end up parking somewhere with hourly rate. Just my 2 cents.

Finished my 3rd Jan cruise and here's my review.

First day ART is quite messy. System was down and they couldn't send the result to tracetogether so had to use their trustone app but result also didn't come in until 45 mins later. Many people were anxious and went back up to get their results which resulted in long queue. Staff didn't really know whether need hardcopy or just the result from trustone app is sufficient which created even more confusion. The ART is done by fullerton health so not Royal's fault. I arrived at Raffles city at 1120 and only left at 1pm!

Once reach marina bay cruise centre, the process was much smoother with no queues and Royal's staff were so professional and efficient that i boarded the ship within 15 mins. Really impress at the efficiency of the check in at cruise centre. Boarded the ship before 2pm and my check in time was 1230pm.

Once boarded, there were already quite a lot of people at windjammer where there is buffet. Food was decent but not a lot of choices on 1st day. Shortly later, there's announcement that room is ready at 2pm.

Before i had my lunch, i booked all the shows, bumper cars also. Managed to choose all the slots i wanted. Booked 1 two70 show featuring Victoria. Was an enjoyable show with good violin skills. Also booked sequins and feathers and soleil du show. There's another headliner show at two70 festuring James Buster which i did not manage to book in the app as they only allow one booking for two70 show. Tried to walk in on 2nd day and had no issues going in. But the show was not very good more suitable if you have kids as the kids seemed to enjoy it.

Overall, not many people on the ship and crowd was manageable although at time after shows and when have live music then will attract some crowd. Food at main dining room is good for dinner definitely must try. I had aged prime rib of beef and steak diane on 1st and 3rd night and both steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Its better than when I had it on my first cruise with RC back in Dec 2019. For windjammer buffet, breakfast is decent with mostly the same items daily and lunch was better on last day with live cut stations of pork knuckles, beef ribs and turkey.

Hi, anybody had tried going ART early and allow on board before the scheduled check in time? For upcoming cruise, me and my partner had booked different check in time. Just wondering if they allow to tag to the earlier slot. Thanks in advance.

I'll be travelling with my young children n plan to bring only their passports. But the RCI email for ART didn't list passport as one of the proof of identity. Anybody tried using passport instead of birth cert or NRIC?

Proof of identity can be either your NRIC (National Registration Identity Card or Birth Certificate) or your FIN card (Foreign identification card for foreign residents).

Just bring them along. IC is a must when I board DC. Only board RCI once so I don’t remember for RCI.

Anyone have the current cruise compass for reference? Thanks
U can see in the RC app. Press the calendar icon on top, then change ship/date at the bottom, then get more details on ships we support. This button will look like it is grey off but it still can be pressed. After that select the ship n date.

In Sept I brought my 2 year old passport only and was never asked for birth cert.

Those with UDP, can we use it to order ala carte food from Harp & Horn or Splash Away Cafe with No charges?

Realise no one posted about casino on QOTS. For those interested to know about their games and minimum bets:

  • Baccarat - from $15
  • 3 card poker - from $10
  • Unlimited Texas hold Em - from $15 ante
  • Roulette - $25 for outside, $5 for inside.
  • Craps - $10 for big / small, $5 for others.
  • Slots - various rates
  • "Coin" Pushers - USD$1 can change 4 coins. Ownself go count.
  • Got $1 UFO claw / Push stick machines that let you win stacks of money.
  • Scratch Cards - $5 onwards
They also got a small VIP area which is mostly Baccarat games. Got dealers there but no players.

Entry is limited. So if full capacity, even if the people walking around not playing, you have to wait outside. Got SDAs onboard as well. Due to safe distancing rules, you have to sanitise your hand when you enter casino, when you join a table.

Casino open from at about 10pm first night and close at about 3am on the last night.

Information above is purely for informational purposes only. Details may change so take it as a reference.
Heard you can charge casino chips to room. After that can pay by credit card for points? Or is there extra fees for borrowing?
