I have a booking with my family for the 4d3n Klang cruise. To be honest the Natas deals are meh: the $3 for 2nd pax sounds amazing until you realize the 2nd pax is baked into the first already, so any savings is well within the margin of error for USD->SGD conversion. The only real "deal" you get from Natas is the credit card luggages.

I'm also expecting a full ship, but I think for me its worth it. Its a brand new ship on its maiden voyage after all, and us being the last stop before the final leg to Shanghai would mean they had time to iron out all the kinks and finish everything on the way here. I'm hoping a significant portion of the passengers are rando peeps the ship picked up on the way, all sailing to Shanghai - would make the trip and peeps more interesting.

I'm actually really excited. First time sailing on such a new ship - she literally just left her work dock yesterday. Boggles my mind we're gonna get on it in a matter of less than 3 months. Even tempted to sign up for that super ex behind-the-scenes tour... must... resist...

By the way ah, I saw on another published old Cruise Compass for Voyager of the Seas, it says that M'sia don't allow any food to be brought back on board. Does anyone know if this is still true?

I was hoping to buying a big box of Cinnabon back from KL. :s22:

Just came back from Spectrum, almost exactly the same as Ovation since they are the same class.
Heard that RC did not renew the contract with Dreamworks, thus not much stuffs for young kids to look forward to.

How was it if comparing with VOTS and QOTS? In terms of facilities...
Same class of ship as OOTS and QOTS ... Different was just a Skypad (3 sets of pad with actual jump and flip if you are able to do so or / VR).

The free-flow of pizza "Sorrentos" at level 4 on OOTS and QOTS is at level 14 on SOTS next to Windjammer. The level 4 of SOTS is a chinese restaurant (Sichuan Reds).

For SOTS, the paid soft-drinks package dispense quite a no. of soft drinks from dispensers, and not redeem from bar counters ...

VOTS is a different class ... a smaller ship ...

Booked two cruises on Spectrum of the Seas once the sailings were listed. Hope that by end 2022 - early 2023 excursions at Malaysia and Thailand are a go!

From my online research, Spectrum was built to cater to China sailings, and thus they have unique features that other cruises do not have, such as the Silver Lounge, Silver Dining Room, Gold Dining Room to cater to guests who book Silver or Gold category rooms, as well as a speciality restaurant Sichuan Red not found on other ships. Solarium is also designated for Silver or Gold guests only.

For Singapore sailings, do you think that some of these features would be changed in line with Royal Caribbean sailings in other countries? One common line of speculation is that:

- Silver Lounge -> Diamond Lounge
- Silver Dining Room -> Solarium Bistro
- Gold Dining Room -> Coastal Kitchen
- Solarium restricted -> Solarium for all adults
- Sichuan Red -> stays the same?

On the other hand, Royal Caribbean has been selling Silver and Gold rooms for the Singapore sailings (mostly suites, but there's also Golden Balcony rooms). What could this mean about the Silver / Gold reserved facilities?
