With the current prices of electricity. Don't think I will be getting a 4000 series just yet. I just hope Nvidia comes out with more power efficient card from the 5000 series onwards. 1000w min for higher end card is no joke

It's ok, idle consumpion and surfing hwz/youtube doesn't draw much power...

Yes, limited air flow. Luckily i have side ventilation holes, not big but bigger than 92mm size, and both are position so nicely that my Fuma2 and RTX can draw cool air from the outside. Front intake is just a miserable bottom slot.
This casing shout premium all over but for today standard, it hardly can survive. I have opt for a gpu fan bracket so my GT fan is just 1cm away from the RTX hence my RTX temp is very good.
It's after i replaced my GTX1070 with the RTX3070Ti then i discover all these short comings.
Temp is good for simple work, but when you rev up the game, all hell break loose.


That is why.... i bought a Phanteks P600s and will migrate the system over this weekend and keep my Soldam.

They also said 3070 > 2080ti but that was too optimistic at best. That said, if performance rumours are true it'd be an exciting time.

If you want to get it, just get it and use it. No point wondering next few weeks will price drop or not. You buy for $744 now, 4 weeks later drop to $734, then these 4 weeks you only save $10, worth it? Or you buy now and enjoy the card?
All eVGA, Zotac, Galax are good cards.
