My auntie sold her hdb using a flat fee agent. She say it was seamless and easy. They handle all the paperwork. Just that for viewing the agent will only coordinate and arrange but he won’t go down on the day itself. So seller have to ownself receive potential buyers and show them around the house.

I guess you pay the agent abit more for the use of his/her online portal to advert your home, and take phonecalls.

I fully agree that most of the marketing and advertising by agents are just complete bs…

If anything, it INFLATES prices based on thin air.

Anyone with brain will know that’s creating unnecessary housing bubbles that ultimately benefit no one except the agents themselves.

It’s high time to rein these useless agents in.

Stop letting them earn fat commissions by unnecessarily jacking up ppty prices and creating housing bubble!
