Could be cable too.
Hi, after owning a Note 9 since July 2019, 3 years on suddenly my device started to charge slowly even with fast charging on, for some reason.

Could it be the charger is faulty? Or maybe time to replace a new battery?

I am experiencing the same. Been using the same charger and cable.

Owner of both a refreshed battery Note 9 and S22U. Both phones seem to have same battery life

But with the update to the latest One UI/Android 10 for the Note 9 by the service center, I feel battery life is a little shorter than what i used to have.

Charging is not affected for myself.

Using the U-Green 3 way cable with Anker 24W dual port USB charger

My note 9 screen has yellowish colour but when I lock and unlock the screen back to normal. Repair shop say is Lcd problem and cost $220 to repair.
Is it worth the repair ? Can it be software issue ?

IMHO.
If like mine, after sometime, it will black out quite permanently.
I am trying to justify to repair it and change the battery too.
It is quite a good phone though initially have the camera issue.

Anyone knows of a good place to purchase the replacement charger?

Wonder if the Samsung store still sells the Note 9 charger these days..

I'm a bit sceptical buying it from Lazada or Shopee.

Just that, being a long time smartphone user, i've been wondering if using other cables/chargers to charge, apart from the original, will it actually damage our phone?

My phone's battery was only recently replaced @ samsung. Original batt till recently approx 4 years+.
I don't really use fast charging. Just slow charge the battery.

No difference and doesn't damage. I don't use wireless charging either.

Cables used mainly from baseus - short length cables and those 3 in 1 cables from Lazada, as i carry a company fruit phone as well.

unless you plan to only change phone every 5 years.....else can go for those renown oem like anker/ugreen ... no matter use original or oem...after 1 year warranty over..sure have risk of battery bloated..

IMHO.
Slight overheat and camera optical zoom issue. Moved to Note10+ - more stable.

Who's still on a note 9 in 2023? Anyone agree with me that so far the note 9 is the most stable phone ever?
No leh. Green screen killed mine even though I already had the screen replaced once during warranty. Its sad though, I really liked the note 9 with the O2 sensor and iris scan unlock.
