Thanks guys , almost wanted to flash but updates nowadays fast and s21u seems like a good phone to hold on to as it's the 1st series to get 4 years software update...

my wife's S21 phone OS is still stuck in Nov 2021 patch. don't intend to flash, so have been checking for OTA but it always states up to date. any idea why?

One tip I gotten from xda - turn on reduce blur under accessibility>visual.

This greatly improved overall performance and random OneUI lags while sacrificing a bit of eye candy.
