Samsung Galaxy S21 series, the same old thing again?

Just went to the service centre.

Just collected my phone. They replaced my screen and battery(not sure why battery) for free even though I'm out of warranty.

And guess what? The guy before me also have his screen and battery replaced. Not sure if its the same issue as me though.
Is it because you are just slightly over the date of warranty?

Hi. I've been encountering the name of the contact disappearing in whatsapp and also there seem to be a lagg when opening the phone book - it takew a few seconds for the contacts in the Sim to kinda fully list out in the phone book.

I have tried adding back whatsapp under manage accounts, make sure sync is updated, refresh the contact list in whatsapp but it just doesn't seem to resolve these issue.

Using S21+ here.. anyone experiencing same issue?

I don't know when the warranty ends. I bought bnib from carousell seller in Sept last year. But Samsung told me my warranty already ended.

I believe service center will based on manufacturer warranty date...can check rf cal by entering *#12580*369# in dialer...

Whether brand new or sealed also no use as not based on activation date like 🍎

Got used if bought from authorised reseller or from telco with receipt. Non authorised reseller like some hdb ah beng shop the receipt may not be recognised.

Ya if still holding on the proof of purchase ie receipt but some I believe will lost or if buy 2nd hand receipt also no use will base on manufacturer date

Strangely, I still have yet to received any software update for my S21 5G 256GB. Model is SM-G991B/DS. Still trying to figure out what caused the problem. Brmought phone earlier thos year from Redwhite mobile as new.

Anyone running FHD+ instead of max WQHD? I'm wondering if there's performance improvement for overall usage?

Base on my naked eye, text seems identical. Videos I don't view higher than FHD.
Overall system seems smoother thou it could just be a placebo effect

I always use fhd.. Can't tell much difference and maybe save juice a bit
