I think they are meaning s24/s24+ are getting either sd or exynos depending on region.

Samsung will likely be shipping the upcoming s24/24+ in two SoC variants namely the exynos 2400 and the sd 8 gen 3

Ya sammy has been using flat screens for the base and plus variants ever since the s21 series. only the curved display was exclusive to the ultras, game change with the s24 ultra next year

Yeah I know the non ultra was already slowly going towards flatter screens but the ultra series was always curved. I'm just surprised they are doing that to the ultra series.

Samsung's launch event date and retail availability for its Galaxy S24 series could have been leaked.
According to TheElec, Samsung is planning to hold its Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event in San Jose, California on 17 January.

As for retail availability, the Galaxy S24 series is tipped to be available for pre-order on 19 January (SGT) and devices should start shipping from 26 January to 30 January. Islandwide sales are likely to start from 30 January.

If true, this would be the first time in three years that Samsung is holding a January event to launch the Galaxy S series. The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22 series were both unveiled in February.
