Been on 8.5 from the first day. No issues with battery drain. Went Japan and used phone alot in google maps and stuff. I don't feel there is any battery drain issue. At least not for me.

My S25edge battery drain like mad after the last update...hope fully this will solve it

No my WhatsApp has problem backing up after the July update, read on the internet alot of ppl facing the same issue. Anyone facing the same issue too??

Yes. WhatsApp has issue with backup. The backup keep preparing and not completing at all. Then phone heats up like crazy till I get warning to restart phone cos insufficient memory.

So what did u do to solve it? I can only back up if don't include videos and turn off encryption

I just cancel it and dont backup.... It heats up the phone like a hot brick.

Yeah I gave up too, hopefully they issue a fix soon cos I just got a new phone need to change to my new phone soon!

I just turn the backup off permanently till it's fixed.. So update me here if it's fixed ya
