oh man. GW4 really only last about 18~20 hours with always on and continuous monitoring. need to optimized the battery usage.

Before u bought this watch, u should know the battery can last x hours. If u want the battery to last longer, u will need to stop all these else just charge it daily n dun bother. For me, it can last 2-3 days.

There are a lot of reviews on the battery. If u missed all these reviews then there are few options, either u stick to it n charge your watch daily, change your settings, wait for update or sell it.

Is there a way to make the always-on-display continue the animation like you've just turned your wrist or bezel?

Like a permanent animation for demo/showroom purpose?

Any idea how to get rid and disable the media icon at the bottom which blocks the date?

It appears after i play music such as Tunein radio, and seems like there's no way to get rid of it.

I already disabled "Show media controls" in the Settings, but i think that's not the one.

Hmm....why are you all complaining about battery life? My battery seem OK for me. I use from 6pm-1030pm. Battery drop about 12%. I sleep with the watch from 11pm to 7pm, battery life drop from 94% to 86%. Is that consider bad?

Im surprise to see only one complaint....I am on a 2nd set, they cannot find any fault and seems doesn't believe me. I ask the service center to read all about this issue around the world. Terrible experience with the service center😭. They said they change it out of good will.....what a joke.
So, it's a Samsung problem. They are ignoring this so don't waste your time, seems unusable with LTE. I can only hope that this issue can be resolved with an update.
Not only streaming, I try calling for 5min, it has to cool down for 5 min before I can use again. And sometimes during a run, this overheating happen in the middle.....how to trust this device???
Imagine bringing this for a Mac hiking and leaving your phone in your car. Don't depend on it, if not you will be very disappointed.
Also, there is an issue with Starhub NUM share. It keep asking me if I want to change my plan since my mobile phone has changed plan....rubbish.... Happen quite frequently. If you tap yes, you are in for trouble....

do u guys put on screen protector?
Watch4 classic got protruding bezel so in a way, there's some sort of protection against accidental side knocks.

Unless you're very sure that you won't knock on the screen, there is no harm putting, especially if its watch4.
