If it ain't broken, why fix it?

Backwards or not backwards, the panel still does it's job what, would rather have them spend time and money on more pressing issues.

Garmen look good on paper nia. Nothing works. It's the nature of sg civil service. Implementation is not important. Nice looking slides is.

To refresh my fellow taxpapers memory:

ST_20160120_ALDISPLAYWLMR_2001293.jpg

https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/transport/new-e-paper-arrival-boards-for-bus-stops

Each unit costs about $43,000 to install - about $7,000 less than LED ones.

While the LED displays can show only three colours in text, the new ones can show up to 4,000 colours. This means extra information, such as weather updates and bus routes, could be shown on the boards in the future.

The e-paper display has been installed at the bus stop along Lorong 1, Geylang, opposite Block 2C. It will also be installed at 10 others, ...

Did it last for 6 mths? Where did the $430,000 went to?

The timing on those panels not zhun one

Correct, it is a total waste of tax payers' money and now no one is looking at the bus arrival info panel and most is using the Bus App

The power is in your hp. Why need a touch screen at the bus stop?
