change every 6 months to new iphone.

sell at a loss and buy at full price.

just to ensure that my phone is always new.

same as car - change before need to change tyres. buy new , sell then buy new again.

If you calculate carefully, those CIS post-paid plans, it is actually cheaper to sign plan and buy iPhone Pro Max.

Ended up, the amount you paying for the plan is much cheaper than SIM only.

Well, at least the iPhone data transfer software/process is quite good.

Most apps (other than banking apps) transfer quite well.

Tips. If plan to change new iPhone yearly.
Get the yesteryear model, brand new.

Cheaper too. And sell off your model before 1 year. Change every 9 months to a year....

nowadays new features are nothing much, even folding phone not revolutionary, so no need to change phone often

Change every 2 years is already very troublesome. Must update MAC address list at home. Backup and restore then test login for more than 10 apps.

- messaging apps
- banking apps
- payment apps (PayLah! , Google pay, etc)
- shopping apps
- email apps
- SingPass

Then pray no funny problem like bricked Wi-Fi or shaky camera, etc. Really is a waste of time. If not because there’s a senior citizen to pass my old phone to, I would delay the hassle.

since simonly not bound by contract.

i buy every four years - 6plus > XR > ip14pm..

my old XR is still tons faster & smoother than my wife's note 10.

but there are others that buy yearly lah. can just sell old to offset the costs for the new one. Depends on the individual ba.
