Now we are opening up VTL to foreigners but that does not mean other countries are opening up VTL with us
Yes true. And SG would be left behind and the last choice for tourists to visit. Currently, most of the visitors to SG are mainly family related or business related visits not for tour.

Last year when cases weren't so high, there were more restrictions for movement in and out
This year when cases are rising up, restrictions are relaxed
I think if those restrictions are still in place for too long it would deter international tourists from coming to SG.

Other countries are starting to open up as well too, like Australia.

Cases still remain high and not coming down...:(

The vaccines are not a cure and 100% protection from Covid 19. Singaporeans have to get use to the situation and move on with their lives like other countries. Period.

None of them have that General Patton's characters to lead, be fully responsible in the midst of life and death situation. After achieving the goal then they can either step down or continue their duty. Let the people be the judge of their decisions and actions. Singaporeans know lives matter but people need to work too and move on with their daily lives.

About the hospitals being overwhelmed by Covid patients and not enough manpower, ok fine. People now know that is the problem so what is/are the solutions?

Now is not about COVID-19 (War) and lost of lives only but its about jobs and the economy. Period.

Singaporeans must be resilient and accept the facts and hard truth about Covid 19 like those in the past that had gone through the Spanish Flu in 1918. Many died but many too had surmounted, lived and survived from Spanish Flu. Period.
