You received these stations from Woodlands or JB?

He says location is JB.

Really interested to know which STB he used.
This will also answer doubts about compatibility.
If he can receive the signals 100% in JB with this STB so can we in Sg.
Brand? Model no?

You can find many model of DVB-T2 set top box on the market. Mostly manufactured by one manufacturer, the differences are only the front panel and the look.. the backside all the same because it is the same pcb. This manufacturer is the ODM for all other brand, I get it from them directly.

Hi there,

Saw this post of yours and me interested.
I have been trying to get T2 channels from Batam as well, but to no avail.
Only managed to get all Singapore's T2 channels.
Location: Pasir Ris
Antenna: HDB rooftop MATV
STB: DVB-T2

Below is the information I got from their InfoComm Ministry:
DVB-T2
UHF50 - 703MHz - Emtek Group (SCTV & Indosiar)
UHF44 - 658MHz - MNC Group (RCTI, GTV, MNC)
UHF46 - 674MHz - TransCorp (TransTV, Trans7)

The latest I heard from them, MNC Group & TransCorp are live.
Emtek Group having technical problem with their transmission tower and are off-air at the moment.

You able to receive the Indo DVB-T channels from Batam, how's the signal strength and quality like? Still on-air these channels?
I knew they ran DVB-T trial some time back. Didn't know the DVB-T channels are still kept alive.

Care to share the frequency of their DVB-T channels, please?

On a separate note: For analog channels, I'm able to receive SCTV & RCTI (viewable). MNCTV, GlobalTV, TransTV (cannot make it).

Regards

All T1 channels are currently on: Main freq 690MHz- Ch48 labelled as TVRI
TVRI-1 TVRI National
TVRI-2 TVRI-Riau Kepri
TVRI-3 RCTI
TVRI-4 ANTV
TVRI-5 Trans
TVRI-6 MetroTV

Dont know signal strength (TV doesn't show) but pictures are sharp (576i).
Sometimes when reception poor- no picture on some of above.
So being digital, its either sharp or none.

I can receive most analogue signals of varying strength, some need booster. but RCTI and SCTV are clearest.
Hope that helps.

BTW may I know whats your dvb-T2 STB?

Thanks for the channel/frequency info.
Yup, those are their 6 DVB-T channels when they were ''trialling'' it back then.

Signal strength would have to obtain from your HUMAX controls since we're using STB. If using iDTV, then the TV controls would show it. (Both cases, usually the ''INFO" button)

For analog, RCTI & SCTV has the highest transmission power amongst all their channels it seems.

Your location is prime for receiving their TV signals. High floor, have a clear view south I guess?

My set top box is Getmecom HD9 DVB-T2.

Unfortunately mid floor and also not facing north. If facing sea (south) it would be perfect. But then again not missing much except for occasional EPL or Champions League matches. Movies are old and rest of progs in Bahasa Indonesia.

If you're a sports junkie, these might be of interest.

Serie A & Coppa Italia: TVRI
EPL, FA Cup, Capital One Cup: SCTV & Indosiar
La Liga, Copa Del Rey, DFB Pokal: RCTI
Ligue 1: B-channel
Bundesliga: Kompas TV

UCL & Europa: SCTV
World Cup 2014: ANTV & TV One

MotorGP: Trans7
Formula 1: Kompas TV

That's Indonesian set? Bought in Batam?
Cheap. <$40

Ya, Indonesian set. Bought in Jakarta. However, MIC still I believe.
Yes, around $40.
