My wifi signal is very weak as my house is two floors. On the 2nd floor, inside the room the wifi signal is very weak.
Should I get a wifi extender?
Or another modem? Which modem can work with miotv?

The modem has no problems even with 300Mbps. Only issue is that only 1 port is 1Gbps, the rest 100Mbps.

Something strange happened tonite. I plugged in my Ac66U into the ONT and tried setting it up again. Managed to to get it set up using Singtel(Others). Connected and I managed to get the full speed, 300mbps. Luckily I did not give up on my Asus!

I am thinking of getting of AC66U too.

Do you need to get it untag from ST when changing to Asus router?
By the way, any idea on how to get the MIO Voice/TV from this Asus router?

I enquired about the Pace modem and ST said they no longer issuing Pace; the current one is the Aztech one.

As far as I know, wireless repeaters will half your wireless bandwidth.

I suggest getting another router and set it up as an access point on your 2nd level. This means you'll have to somehow find a way to pull a LAN cable to the 2nd floor...

Or get an imba router like Asus.

If U use 5520 or AzTech7000 then it is ok.. port one use to MioTV, 2 to ASUS for booster... if 5012NV also can..but must use Port 1 to ASUS as it's ONE PORT GIGABIT ONLY.....

If U want 5520...ask me.. I got stock to destroy....

Yes.. aka Standard Fiber RG ... 5012 is the older Fast Ethernet version...chunky.

sounds like modem gone dead......u can 1688 .....they should be able to replace by next day...

Interior quality cannot compare. N56U and above all got Singtel presets so can connect direct.
