Are you not able to change language and re-download AI? This should work.

I found out why. It’s because even after upgrade to 18.2, there are still background download for the apple intelligence hence I thought it was gone

You need to set it to English (US) before you can get the Image Playground app.

the Playground app still needs a lot more work. At this release, can only add one person’s pic plus other scenarios. Cannot add persons pics or a single pic with more than one person inside.

Mine shows ios 18.2 and US English with apple intelligence on but no image playground app on home screen.

Edit: I was out earlier. When i went home & logged onto wifi suddenly it showed image playground but when i tried to run it opened app store then said not available in my country & i never saw it again.

Apple Intelligence works on my iphone so my language setting confirm correct.

if ur display is set to zoomed, the top right corner icons will get blocked by dynamic island. this bug is still unsolved. comeon, this is already 18.2. seems apple got no intention to fix this.
