thing is not when they start selling. is the huge lag between announcement and selling. the excitement is simply no more.. especially when by the time they start selling, there would be news about 2022 models, new snapdragon chip (e.g. 888+) etc.

they should reconsider their marketing/retail strategies man..

This announcement already pushed back 2 months. Xperia 1II was announced on February. :ROFLMAO:

If you really want then help them suggest or assist their company in changing the release date despite their fiscal work year starting at different quarter.

BTW another comparison between xperia 1II. Battery usage less than xperia 1II but temperature goes up a lot higher... (62 degrees )

Battery life is understandably better due to the bigger battery in the newer model. That higher heat is really worrying and not only for the bigger model, may also affect the smaller 5 III which had less surface area for heat dissipation.

Yeah. Like the x1iii. So when we get the 1iii, Vivo, Xiaomi, Asus will all have 888+ models at the same time
So Q3 in Sept, Sony purposely time their release to coincide with iPhone13 ... 😂

very confident Sony to take on the iPhone 😂

Might as well get the fruity phone, if someone is just focused to get the best processing hardware in the market.

What point are you making besides looking at newer hardware? Benchmark scores?
As far as I am concerned, slight increase in processing speed does not do wonders for smartphones.

July already sia.. such a shame that Singapore is such a weak market for Sony (mobile) so much so they're not even interested to sell the phone here.
