Those racially stereotyped descriptions were, until recently, featured on the website of Best Housekeeper, a domestic worker agency in Singapore. They were quietly removed from the site late last week but can be seen in full on an Internet Archive snapshot of the page taken on Sept. 28.

Hoping for an explanation for the removal, Coconuts called Best Housekeeper’s office but were told they were “not interested” in speaking to the media. So we must surmise they were taken down in response to the outrage over a viral tweet that highlighted them last week.

While the backlash may have led to one domestic worker agency removing racially stereotyped language from their website, we were able to find plenty of similar examples used by other agencies and their affiliates. Migrant worker advocacy groups say such language can have a serious impact on their working conditions and treatment.

I don’t see see anything wrong. It helps people to choose the right maid. After all, this is how we normally analyse things, looking for relationships and make decisions. For those who have issue with it, can you prove that there is no basis at all for such categorisation.

angmohs just like to keep their sins and depravity out of sight out of mind. very big hypocrites.

thats why they kpkb when they see this but no peoblem buying clothes made from child labour in sri lanka or buy prawns from slave labour from thailand.

thats why they consume more meat and kill more animals than any humans on earth on a per capita basis they okay. thats why their factory farming animal abuse on an industrial holocaust scale they no problem. but when they see non Westerners kill animals in live animal markets they say its inhumane.

thats why they dont even dare to eat fish without filleting it first. because seeing a fish skeleton will remind them that they are consuming a living thing and reminding them of their sins. Its not that they dont want to sin, its that they dont want to be reminded of it while doing it.

thats why they love drone warfare. can kill people without first hand observing the human tragedy and horror.
