Some feedback:
  1. Some pictures did not hide the 'competing telco's 4G network'.
  2. There's no point hiding the 'competing telco's 4G network' if the external IP is not going to be masked as well. A simple IP lookup reveals the telco to be Singtel.
  3. Is the author using a GOMO SIM? Seems like all the speeds are capped at around 75Mbps which means the comparison with Starhub 5G has 0 value.

Hi finalforce,

1) I believe it's a caching issue. We've updated all of the images.
2) The gist is that we didn't want the article to be a a competitor vs. StarHub outright and we had to go with what was available and possible to us at that juncture.
3) We've obtained some intelligence from other keen folks in this field and it would seem that the competitor's performance capability was indeed not up to their usual caliber during our test period.

In any case, we've currenlty retesting this on StarHub's own network as we've finally obtained the means to test it on the same vendor's network. We've also declared in the article that we would be revisting this test and we actually have one of our reporters out and about the last few days for this purpose.

Stay tuned for an updated report later this week.

Thanks for your feedback.
