Just go ahead. No harm trying.

I suspect the link may be gone soon so it is better to try the link now than later.
Trying on different browser now, coz Chrome once click subscribe now, it showing a square loading screen that is white at select router option forever. ☹️

ONT given to me is Nokia X5-240X-A.
I don’t have any contract given to me yet. So I don’t know for how long $29.55/mth will be and any other info. The installation guy asked if I’m under corporate plan, I say I don’t know and he said must be, if not cannot get this price.

I just saw in StarHub app that contract ends 2 years later. No other info in the app (or I don’t know how to use the app to check. Still new to the app.)

For signing up, I used the link using Chrome browser. Tried with safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac many times and doesn’t work.

This is starting to get hilarious, no tnc given. As long as pricing is good. Was there a link to any tnc when signing up? I tried clicking through but didn't notice anything.

Your StarHub account associated email account should have received a PDF contract or inside website under My account under the broadband services should have a e-contract

Ok, I found service agreement in my email. $29.55 per month is for 2 years. There is a one time charge of $61.05 (which I thought supposed to be waived but it’s in the service agreement).

Is there any mention of the usual price, or there after price after 2 years?

No mention of usual price or price after 2 years. It did mention no downgrading during contract period. Also mentioned promotion name is “Exclusive: UltraSpeed 5Gbps ONT at $29.55”.

That is the NLT charge Starhub (as well as MR) does not waive now.

Last time usually ISPs did not waive NLT charges. This is one cost you had to pay when switching ISPs.

But currently, SingTel 5Gbps/10Gbps plan, VQ 10Gbps plan, SIMBA 10Gbps plan and WC 10Gbps plan have the promotion to waive the NLT charges. Probably a time limited promotion.

If need to pay the 61 dollars, and starhub charges 30 dollars for termination, that's estimated additional cost of around 90 dollars, around 3 months of service.

Need to wait for others feedback to see if they do charge the NLT fee in the first bill.

If you are keen, subscribe now. I am guessing the link may be gone at any time.
