Hi everyone,
I am looking at the C935, wondering if anyone in this forum has this TV? Wanted to see if any user has good or bad real life everyday usage feedback that can help me decide if the set is a good buy.
I've considered the Samsung S95B and the LG C2. I am concerned about OLED burn in issues and on the web there is also this issue with auto brightness that is widely reported.
Thanks in advance for your feedback!!
Cheers
Relazz
Do check out the images in a dark room. The local dimming really cannot make it for C835. Not sure about C935. Its as if local dimming is non-existent for C835 even when this setting is set to High. You are better off with an OLED. I do own an LG OLED, LG 3D 4K TV and C835. The worst performance in terms of black level is the TCL. If you intent to watch in a dark setting, TCL is not for you. My 8 year old LG LED 3D TV outperforms in overall black levels (although it has no local dimming).
Otherwise, the C835 images looks vibrant in bright, colorful scenes. The audio is pretty decent due to the built-in Onkyo subwoofer. But a cheap $150 soundbar could easily outperform the built-in audio.
Dont worry about burn-in. By the time if and when it gets noticeable, it will be time for a new TV as there would have been many changes to TV technology.
I would stay away from TCL due to poor tech support. The only way to contact them is via Whatsapp messages and email. If they dont respond, too bad for you.
