ahh no one really responded earlier so i just bought the xiaomi 65 inch 4S global version. Cheapest after all the cashback/coupon/discount...about $680+.

It seems to have all the features for netflix and app downloads with HDR+ which is all i need for a bedroom tv.

Already bought a 65 LG CX oled 3 weeks back for my main living room tv. Wanted to delete this thread but unable to

Hi, could you share how you gotten the 680? Cheaoest infound so far is 770 without mounting bracket.

Thanks@!

I notice something weird... u all know the prism sell tv and then lately lumos projector come out of air .

When look at their media review , website layout and the way they ya ya on their content like the same tone too.

Are they same company ? Prism think tv dying ah so sell projector ?😂 btw 90inch put $299 only.

Hmmmm

At least the TV price competitive. The $299 projector can buy exact same model @lazada for half price after discount code - chinese Oem (aun akey6).

Tv is still a better buy, only thing good about projector is the screen size

Out of all, TCL used to be the best since Prism wasn’t Android TV and Xiaomi has some connection and app issues.

But now with the Q65 I think more comparable and not a clear winner between TCL & Prism.

Depend on Prism QC, their previous series QC not very good compared to TCL / Xiaomi

Wrong. They are all LCD TV’s with LED backlighting.
The LED backlighting could be either direct lit or edge lit.

If I'm not wrong, LED provides the backlighting which is always on... while the LCD panel provides the image by adjusting the pixels on it... I think now all TVs use LED backlighting to save on power... in the past used to be fluorescent tubes...

PRISM+ is IPS. IPS stands for in-plane switching, a type of LED (a form of LCD) display panel technology. IPS panels are characterized as having the best color and viewing angles among the other main types of display panels. impressed with their price and their 3 years onsite warranty. tempting to buy leh :s12:
