This tenant likes to hog the washing machine with a full load of clothes and sometimes only the blanket. She will leave the washing machine to wash the clothes and will leave the house to work after that without taking out the clothes from the washing machine. The other tenants cannot use the washing machine at all with this hogger doing this selfish act almost a few times a month. She keeps insisting she forgets about it. How can it be she forgets so many times? She is a work expat on S pass. She is highly educated and has a degree so don't tell me young age memory loss?
How should I handle this type of selfish prick without the need to inform the owner? Please suggest some mean little ways I can teach this little selfish idiot a lesson.

Sure or not? I want to try it on the blanket. Spin it for 3 hours. Yes, it is top load machine.
My own friend suggested emptying the whole bottle of concentrated bleach into the machine...

So simple, just remove the washed clothes from the washing machine and put them into a pail of water.

does your TA has a conditon that says "Not to become a nuisance or annoyance to adjoining occupiers".

if so, make it an official warning and document it via whatsapp. if it happens again, you have the right to terminate the agreement without any compensation as she breach the t&c.

otherwise, she buy her own washing machine provided got space to put.

In before MOTH.

Anyway, after she had done her cycle, if she doesn't remove her clothes from the washing machine, easy peasy, take it all out (still damp), put it in a nice pile in a corner, use it as feet rag whilst other tenants use the washing machine. Then put up a notice on the washing machine saying that ALL CLOTHES NOT REMOVED IMMEDIATELY AFTER WASHING WILL BE PLACED IN A CORNER.

When she comes back, she will DEFINITELY ask you why her clothes are in the corner. Just point to her the notice.

And if she claims she didn't see it and it popped up all of a sudden and its unfair to her. Just tell her, "Look at your fingers, they are not of even length. And so is life. A gentle reminder, you are a tenant in MY house. You've gotta buy my house if you'd wanna set the rules."

I can guarantee chop you, her stupid pattern will stop instantly OR she will move out.

then you llst. is the landlord aware? if yes, and he do nothing, then see if there is a condition where landlord breaches it, you can leave without compensation, just need to serve the notice period.

Then you've gotta tell the landlord OR you have to buy the house over to set the rules.
If I am the owner, I will just kick her out. I have my own house for my elderly parents to live in and I look for a room elsewhere near to my workplace so that I will not bring the covid virus back to my house and infect my elderly parents. My own house's neighbours surrounding me are great people to live with... I am always looking forward to weekends to visit my parents and sleep inside my own house and my own bedroom. Even can have casual coffee and lunch breaks with my next door neighbour.

Just be a nice person, take out the clothes and put in a pail.
If she doesn't hang it until she returns from work, the clothes will have one kind of smell, but that's her problem.
