sorry i think this movie is good...is a family movie u have to rem...

esp gru of being a dad to the 3 kids ...he have to change......

and the minions...i really hope they got more air time....but of cos there is their movies in 2014 ...im waiting...

haha sure no problem ... different people have different opinions. I guess I was expecting something fresh like the first one. Parenting and romance didn't work for me.

The minions took too much of the centerstage on this one.

Their cuteness could not hide the weak story. This should have gone straight to video.

When the minions didnt self-consciously act cute in D1, everyone found them endearing and fell in love with them. But when they start to milk it in D2, and use it to carry the entire movie, everyone can see through, and that's when the cuteness loses its magic.

The minions remind me of the squirrel thing in Ice Age, who started out cute but later become nothing more than a reminder of the sad decline of the series.

With a lackluster story that embed too many blah sub-plots in an all too common theme, D2 was a bore to watch and a disgraceful successor to D1. The minions were unbearable, and the three girls were annoying. Glu playing a doting father who's trying out romance? D2 simply got its focus all wrong.

Just bought the Despicable Me 2 Dave Deluxe Action Figure with Rocket Launcher and Stuart Deluxe Action Figure with Fart Dart Launcher and got the minions 3D goggles free! The figures' eyes can blink and mouth can move if you press the chest.

Got another battery-operated can produce sound made by minion but cost about $130!!! Wanted to buy that as well but it can't move so didn't buy.
