Mister Pomp Beeswax review.
Kope from a friend (whatme) and decided to do a review.
hope it helps.

1. Smell
Smell like hazeline snow (for the older gen will know)
Bloody heavenly.
Use on hair already smell damn good.

2. Texture of the product itself.
To me its not exactly spongy, kinda different from the general wax or paste.
Really feel like hazeline snow too.
The paste is so white like snow.
Rub on hands, easy to spread. Don't feel dry or sticky.

3. Workability
Its quite easy to work into hair but it doesn't work as fast.
Take slightly longer time for the hold to take effect.
Easy to create texture with layered hair.

4. Hold
Initial impression, hold is probably a 8/10. Comparing to GD if we give GD a 10/10.
Wind resistance - ain't that bad.
Keeps the shape of the style

5. Pilability
I would say its easy to run my fingers thru my hair to restyle or to keep fray or baby hair from flopping down.
Feels a little dry - which means hold is there.

6. Finishing
Matte with a bit of natural hair shine. Very normal to have that.

If i were to compare to Gold digger
totally different stuff.

Gold digger aims for extreme hold therefore its damn dry and works in fast
Beeswax i would say its going for strong hold and lighter weight than Gold digger. Gives you more time to work into your hair.

Both are pretty matte with a bit of shine.

I would pretty much use Mister Pomp Beeswax than any of HdF stuff.
This Beeswax is quite impressive, especially the smell.
Can give it a try if you're bored with by vilain or HdF or any pomade.
But don't bash me if you think the hold isn't there as its not as dry and strong for gold digger.
But its way easier to work with. Unless you love the feel of dryness because to me dryness means the product is going to be very strong.

I recommend to those who wants a lighter weight paste to keep your hair fluffy.

The better comparsion should be Dynamite Clay and Beeswax and Sponge Wax.
I would rate
Beeswax and Dynamite clay slightly stronger than Sponge Wax.

Remember - Hair going flat doesn't mean the product is weak. It means your hair has almost no volume or you blow dry wrongly. There's something call gravity. Use a good prestyling spray to boost volume and learn a proper technique that its suited to blow dry your own hair.
Whatever is on the net may not work for you because all hair texture is different.
You need to learn how to handle your own hair.
Don't expect any products to work like magic out of the box.
There is no such thing.
Learn your own hair and how to handle it, I am sure you will eventually find the product that suits.

Also if your hair is very long and thick, i would suggest you to cut or thin it.
Too much hair = too much weight, might cause it to be flatten.

will report back about washibility soon tonight.

my 2cents. can ignore if you think this is crap. :)

Been a while since i last posted here as i was kept busy with the promo this month. Stocks are moving very fast and for the benefit of the long time supporters over here, the deal for 15% storewide off @ TPJ ends today, in just a few hours! Hop over to take a look if it interests you guys!

And a quick one. Vantachi clay has a new variation in purple. Comes with even stronger hold now and no longer that sticky as compared to the white vantachi, it allows one to apply much easier. It is meant for salon use so this variation is harder to find on the market. As for washability, this area for vantachi never disappoints, as always. :)

Can elaborate more between beeswax & DC?
Perhaps in terms of hold, Pliability & finishing. Thanks.

Bro gaoxing, would be great if you can do a brief comparison of the vantachi, dynamite clay and Beeswax.

Vantachi ah. It's wet Clay.
Stickiest among all 3
Tends to harden but is the strongest out of all 3.
Dynamite Clay and beeswax more Dynamic.

In terms of hold. After a day use. Dynamite Clay has slightly stronger hold more matte and better pliability.
But beeswax is very close to it.
I forsee beeswax easier to wash off.
Beeswax Also slightly easier to work into hair.
As for Dynamite Clay, it's Clay so need to heat up to ensure Max workability.

After a long day, beeswax may lose abit hold. But today maybe I perspire more due to weather. Hot like mad.

Beeswax is also Lighter in weight.

I think beeswax will be a good fit in any one styling arsenal. For the slightly more laid back chill the f out day.

PS
Doesn't mean I think it's good means I am going to sell it. Unlike some people. I have business ethics. I believe in business partnership and friendship. No point fighting over such a small market share Haha.

This review is purely personal and since people are talking about it now. So must as well go back in time and do abit of my reviewing work. Lol
