My lego is collecting alot of dust.

Can share how you guys keep/store your built lego ?

My built sets are either on display shelves with doors or storage drawers and containers, none of them are exposed.

My sealed sets are a totally different matter, stacking up on metal racks and occupying every corner of the house. Recently I moved quite a bit of sets to my father's place and had to use micro fibre cloth to wipe each and every box (all six sides) as they were very dusty.

Got the CNY 4-in-1 bundle set (80116, 80117, 40648 & 40678) for $132.

Super cheap way to acquire parts!

Update: My order for this 4-in-1 bundle got cancelled and refunded due to item out of stock. :-( Then quickly grabbed the last set of Shopping Street @ half price.

I guess it depends on how much you like the sets, though can't go wrong with 50% or higher discounts.

Milky Way now went up from $171 to $213 for me since I used up some discounts & vouchers for my orders. You may be able to get cheaper than $213 depending on your coins & vouchers.

Stranger things Creel house and holiday express are in my want list
Tudor corner ever got it at 166. So no, slightly below 2 is not a good buy.
:p

Bought Milky Way at $157 after discounts, really a nice set to hang up on the wall
Nice price!

Also, I think that has to be the "most dust collector" set ever with a whole bunch of very irregular surface parts sticking out compared to all other art sets. šŸ˜„

Just randomly spotted the 50011 Battle of Helm's Deep is now worth over S$600!?

Sold 2 of mine few years back for S$70 each. I wondered what causes the ridiculously inflated price hike. The parts in the set are just typical bricks, I guess it's the microfigures?

My LOTR/Hobbit collection, pic taken just before the last batch of Hobbit sets were released hence you don't see them here.

Btw, sold quite a few of the Uruk Hai army sets througout the years (left 1/3 with me), and also sold one 79003. Other than that, still have all of them. :)

More importantly
What are you pre-ordering?
Seriously need to cut back, winding down my Lego purchases.

Planning to spend less time on Lego and more time on my other hobby... Photography!

Last week, my 12-year old Sony Alpha 6000 finally broke down and I managed to grab the cheapest modern Alpha body I can find to replace it, i.e. Sony ZV-E10. Compared to A6000, no EVF, no built-in flash, plastic body but button layout, menu system, camera features etc all very similar. And of course all the new features expected for a latest gen Alpha camera. Sad to say one of my old lens the Tamron 70-300 APO zoom lens became visibly foggy and no longer usable. šŸ˜ž

Back in the days, I did wedding photography FOC for my friends & colleagues with my Minolta Dynax film SLR camera and lens. Then the company was bought by Konica and finally in the 2000s sold to Sony. Sony's Alpha cameras are built on the foundation of the Minolta Dynax SLR cameras, which is why I can mount the old Minolta lens on a modern Sony Alpha body using the Sony mount adaptor.
