Since I overseas looks like zenyum is a local option. Treatment plan is like at least 12 week long unlike those I mentioned can be done super short. Zenyum may not approve serious cases but here serious cases does go thru. Ppl do report tooth falling out, since these places do not access gum health etc.

Super cheap option very limited monitoring and stubborn tooth don’t get corrected unless you go complain. Even complain they may not even entertain is bigger issue

Care to explain the hassle?
For hygiene purposes its always best to take off the aligner to eat/drink. So if u go out socialise , u cant be taking off that long (4-6hrs) as u will be eating snacks n drinking.
if u wear your aligner to drink, it gonna get ugly n dirty as every two weeks then u change a new tray. Smelly too. Thus its your call.
Dr recommend to wear at least 20hrs a day or more to be efficient. So is really only during meal times u can take off, then go brush ur teeth n clean ur mouth before u put on. If u didnt clean, u can imagine how dirty/messy it will be. Thus u will “lazy” to eat, sometimes.
But overall its better than braces. Bcos no need pluck 4 tooth

braces drinking less trouble than retainer

Eating, all the food get stuck between the braces. Flossing have to get above and under the braces. Brush also need to take care if not rubber band come off. After food must brush and floss, eat snacks for 4-6 hours, food sticking in your teeth… socialize open mouth so ugly.

cannot eat certain food too with braces esp hard stuff like nuts or sticky stuff.

braces u get the wire sticking to the back, can have mouth ulcer. Need to put wax to protect against irritation. After meals or brushing must check and put wax

Forgot already. Nearing the 2 yrs mark, they rescan and redo another new set of tray.
every two weeks just change one new tray. Basically u go appointment is just to take your new tray, and sometimes just brief cleaning of your teeth. Less than 5mins settled.

Is yours Invisalign? Any idea if the result would be as good as braces?

I did Invisalign before and will never do it again. I subsequently did braces as my teeth relapsed after I stopped using my retainers post-Invisalign. Invisalign is more discreet but it’s super inconvenient. You have to remove when you eat or drink anything besides water. In the morning when I drink coffee, gotta remove, then rinse my mouth and place it back. It’s ridiculous. When you eat out, it’s hard to find a toilet to brush your teeth and put it back on. I mean it’s kinda weird to be brushing your teeth in public too. End up I couldn’t wear it for the recommended 21 hours a day and so my treatment was frequently extended and results not ideal. Invisalign is good only if you have a minimal social life. That is, you are always home otherwise it’s hard to fit it into a normal person’s lifestyle. I did braces after that and it was the best option.
