My fren was retrenched twice before 40. But he made savvy investments and alrdy have enuff to buy a 4rm resale and retire.

Household income can be more than 2 adults. All the grown up BBFAs living with their parents , contribute to the household income.

With later marriage age and decreasing marriage rate, the proportion of grown up working children has also increased. Of course household incomes has gone up.

Unless your siblings and parents give you money to buy BTO, it is irrelevant to link household income to BTO prices. Individual incomes should be used instead.
