Subtle to noticeable. It won't make bad music sound good but it will give a clearer and more stable imaging. Bass also improves slightly in depth and weight

Schiit Valhalla (1st gen), iFi iCan (1st gen). The Bryston was a big step up with better control, soundstage, clarity and details.

Also heard the HD800 driven by the iFi Stereo 50 amp/dac and it's very nice, although single ended. The iFi iCan Pro will be interesting.
