轰动马来西亚的炸弹包裹炸死厨师一案，当地警方证实已经逮捕了一对涉案的华裔夫妇嫌犯。调查显示，命案动机跟桃色纠纷有关。

根据马国《星洲日报》报道，这对夫妇是在昨天（3日）在吉打居林落网。警方今天也把他们带上法庭申请延长扣留，以就案件作进一步调查。

33岁的男嫌犯据悉是一名铺地砖工友，同样落网的妻子则是30岁，调查显示，男嫌犯因不满妻子红杏出墙，便在网上学习如何制造炸弹，布置陷阱杀害死者出气。

事发于12月29日晚上约8点50分，死者在雪兰莪州安邦再也班丹英达一间餐馆外看到他的汽车引擎盖上有一个神秘包裹，好奇之下打开包裹时，包裹当场爆炸，导致他遭炸至重伤，抢救不治身亡。

随着关键男嫌犯落网，警方也宣布这起命案已经破案。

PETALING JAYA: A husband and wife have been charged at the Ampang magistrates’ court with murder over an explosion that killed a waiter in Pandan Indah, Ampang, on Dec 29.

The charges were framed under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries the death penalty upon conviction.

Khor Swee Boon, 33, and Ng Hui Yee, 30, nodded their heads as an interpreter read out the charges, according to China Press.

No plea was made as the case will be heard by the High Court. They are set to appear in the High Court on March 23.

Representing the two defendants, RSN Rayer asked the court to allow Ng to be granted bail since she had to care for their two children, aged five and seven.

The prosecution objected, saying there were no grounds for this since murder was a non-bailable offence.

The court decided not to allow bail to Ng.

It was reported that a 28-year-old male waiter died of severe injuries after a parcel left on his car bonnet exploded.

Police said they believed the homemade bomb was remotely detonated.

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 16 — A married couple were charged at the Magistrate’s Court here today with murdering a restaurant waiter after a package left on the bonnet of the man’s car exploded, last December.

Khor Swee Boon, 33, and his wife Ng Hui Yee, 30, were jointly charged with killing Cho Lim Fong, 29, in front of a restaurant at Jalan Pandah Indah 1/22, Pandan Indah here at 8.55pm on December 29.

Theu were charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code read together with Section 34 of the same code, which carries the death penalty, if convicted.

Khor and Ng nodded they understood after the charges were read out before Magistrate Nurmaizan Rahim, but no pleas were recorded because murder cases are under the jurisdiction of the High Court.

Counsel RSN Rayer, who represented both the accused, asked for bail to be granted to Ng on the grounds that she had to take care of her two children, aged five and seven, who are currently under the care of her parents.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Nurul Ameera Sam Kamaruddin objected citing that there were no special circumstances that allowed the court to grant bail.

The court rejected the bail application and fixed March 23 for re-mention of the case.
