I find SBS Iris is quite accurate in terms of bus arrival times. Bus routes confirm accurate lah since its SBS's official app.

What other bus apps do you guys use and feel are good? There are quite a few out there and I'm thinking of just cutting down to Iris and 1 or 2 more.

Currently I'm using Iris, SG Buses, SG Next Bus, NavFone SG Bus MRT, NextRide, Singapore Buses, SGP Bus Guide and bus@sg. Yes I know its a lot which is why I'm now planning to filter them.

Try Transitlink
How2Go? Different thing leh. How2Go is like StreetDirectory i.e. you key in starting point and ending point and it recommends routes.

I'm talking about bus apps which provide info for each service i.e. the route and the bus stops it calls, and also arrival time. How2Go doesn't do that.

No, the Transitlink App dood....blue icon
Oh the other one. Must be new. When I had my iPhone 5 the only TransitLink app was How 2 Go. Ok will check it out.

But have you tried any of the other apps? Find them accurate?

I am only using iris since there are only sbs buses around me haha. Find it really accurate and good. Only sometimes my bus station bookmarks will be gone and have to re add them.

I am using this app since android and my IP 6+ now SG Buses V3 by Hon Cheng Muh

Yeah I've used his first app too. I just hope he updates the routes regularly. To me the most vital part of such apps is once the bus route is changed or a bus stop moved/added/removed it must be updated as fast as possible.

I use SG NextBus because I like the UI a lot, and their timings are fairly accurate.

Now they even have notification centre widget... Which I don't use because need GPS and the battery zzz

I like sg next bus because there's notification service when the bus I select is arriving so I don't need to keep checking my phone and tapping to refresh

Would really love bus@sg. Able to favourite the various buses at the respective bus stops. Not only that, but has got a Nearby map, where you can select the 'exact' bus stop, not by entering the bus stop number. The Nearby displays as a map, you can tap the annotation and would see the buses that calls at the bus stop.

I'm using "My Transport SG" from LTA for my bus arrival, traffic cam, ERP, etc.

The map sounds useful. Streetdirectory sometimes screws up and bus stops are not displayed.

For many years, I had 7-8 apps for this purpose. But always prefer bus@sg for its customizable initial screen. Removed most of the rest for new phones.
But when bus@sg moved the search to go under Map, I find it more troublesome, and I added My Transport.
So for day to day I use bus@sg, for new search I use My Transport. Personal preference :)

SG NextBus FTW!
App allows to select only the buses you need instead of seeing each & every buses for that stop.
