Why does Singapore even bother?

If someone wanted to destroy Singapore, a few bombs would do it; the military would be obliterated in a week max. There's not even remotely enough anti-air in Singapore or it's surrounding waters to mount a defense, judging from the Singapore's government's own records.

Our military also just stands by and watches while the world burns and evil spreads across the world. The government is even too scared to stand up for peace, instead benefiting from playing friends on both sides. It's shameful.

So what's the point? A fun holiday for Singapore males?

SAF is more than important. It is a matter of life or death for Singapore.
Even if US wants to save SG, at least we must be able to defend against an initial attack.

At one time forces mobilised in Johor.
