Yes like previous yrs, Singtel do sell phone only.
Yes. They sell the same price as apple store, at least now. Then months later will have discount. Their 24months phone-only instalment plan adds up to the same retail price. So what's the catch?? What happens if you miss the payment or don't pay?

If miss either pay interest/penalty or they hire debt collectors collect from your home??

Yes, sell same RRP, but they provide installement option for those without/do not want to use credit cards.
Installment plan needs to be paired with Singtel's plans, minimally the SOP. Missed installements just pay in subsequent month but of course there's late fees, reminder fees etc. included in the bills, max 2 months before line suspended and they pursue you thereafter IIRC.
Promos likely only when nearing the next iPhone launch.

No. They have 12/24/36months installment plan or even cash upfront without any of their mobile plans tie-in. It's their in-house "singtel paylater" scheme.

Oh is it? My previous knowledge was it needs to be tied to a SOP minimally.
I think you need to tie the instalment to an existing singtel plan.... I tried it earlier. I was looking at the iPhone 17 Pro and tried it. I think it's quite worth for someone who doesnt want to pay up front but still enjoy a new iPhone 17 or even other phones.

I saw that too...it is available for a variety of their products including tablets/laptops and accessories. Sometimes extra savings with their occasional promotions. Looks like they the only telco have that service

Anyone thought of buying from Malaysia instead to capitalize on the FX rate?

warranty wise, is it international, so any thing, can also bring over to Apple SG service centre?
