I have been using Standard Chartered Xsaver debit card in the past because it gave me 2% cashback on all expenditure. Recently, it was cut to 1%.

Can someone recommend me a better debit card, if there is?

I am afraid there isn't any better debit card unless you want free overseas cash withdrawals, then Citibank would be better.

You might want to give the Citibank Tap And Save Account a look. Their debit card gives 1% cashback on everything as well, but maybe you will find some of their other features better?

Apart from that, the best I can think of is a pre-paid debit card. It's called Nets Flashpay. ;) Get the Mc Diddy one and you get a 5% rebate on everything except ERP, commute and kiosk payments (whatever that is). Rebate valid until the end of the year.

Does it really matter?

I am also looking for a potential savings bank account and eventually a debit card. Is POSB or OCBC better?:(
