If u go dating or hang out with friends, those who can drive is considered more attractive than those who can't. Then those who can drive plus got car even more attractive.

I remember girls saying this:

"You are not manly enough because you cannot drive"

"I wanna date someone that can drive so we can have personal commuting"

Yup other countries the people see it as necessity. Tokyo public transportation is already good for them so they dont see the need to drive. Our public transportation is also easily accessible as well. But sinkies got this mindset where no driving means cannot succeed well in life.

Most people I know of paid full cash 100% for their cars. No debt.
