Creative outlier air v3.

Impressive effort from creative for its price. $85 with Challenger membership. Out of the box tuning is quite bass heavy, using the app to turn down the mid bass and the tuning becomes more mature. It's weakness is probably the treble which isn't very well defined. Size is small and light.

The app is useful, got many preset EQ and able to set custom EQ, able to set controls and adjust the ANC and ambient mode strength. Firmware can also be updated through the app.
How the sound can fight Sony wf-1000xm4 or not? :s13:

Sony treble is more defined. Creative mids is clearer. For a quarter of the price of Sony, the creative is very good, easily one of the best in low and mid range tws earbuds. Ranks in top 5 of my tws collection.

The eq like not much difference to my ears, even after boosting bass and treble the highs still not that high and the bass still not that powerful to me.

Maybe it's just me lah. Now I dunno what to buy liao. :frown:
Wah... I feel the bass is too overpowering out of the box and has to EQ down.

Different ears I guess or bad QC. Anyway that's why I feel a customized EQ profile for individuals like Soundcore's HearID and Jabra's mySound is essential in a pair of modern earbuds.

Use the R&B EQ in the Creative app on the v3. Wow the sound especially the top end is much better defined now. Top 3 in my tws collection now.

Do you own any soundcore or Jabra tws?

Got soundcore liberty 2 pro. Don't really like it cos the mids sound artificial. Jabra no because can only use right side if want to use one earbud.
But the HearID and app very good right?

I hate customizing the EQ myself and the presets are usually very limited.

HearID is something similar to the Samsung adapt sound on phones also. I generally don't like soundcore tuning.

Ugreen Hitune H3 Mini Review
U2rfRu5.jpg

Pros:
  1. Super affordable (at $34 after discount).
  2. Super compact and lightweight (smaller than SoundSore Liberty Air 2 and Air 2 Pro).
  3. Decent battery life, official declares up to 6 hours and I tested at 5.5 hours.
  4. Comfortable to wear (hook on the ears).
  5. Build quality is better than some budget earbuds such as SoundPeats and QCY which I have used previously.
  6. Super fast paring and switching between earbuds.
Cons:
  1. AirPods copycat.
  2. No app support.
  3. Mic quality is average.
  4. Lacks of bass due to its semi open style design.
  5. No Aptx support (it uses BES2500IUC SoC).
  6. No touch sound for double taps and triple taps.

Anyone has first hands experience for both Creative Outlier Air v3 and Redmi Airdots 3 Pro? On the paper, the specifications between the two look familiar, even the pricetag.
