Working holidays in New Zealand

Did you know Singaporeans age between 18 and 30 are allow to work New Zealand for 1 year? Check out this link

A friend of mine did fruit picking a couple of years ago. If you plan it well, you can start in November with cherries then move on to strawberries in December, then move on to peaches/nectarines in January and then move on to kiwifruits, apples and pears from Feb to May or even longer. This friend of mine was sharing with me how he enjoyed working in the apple pack house in Nelson.

Here are all the fruits related jobs if you are keen. Make sure you get one that can provide accommodation. The minimum pay is $21.20 per hour.
