Is this a good price? I have not bought any Android phone over S$500 since 2018.

I am using X7 Pro now and I like it.

Poco F7 Ultra is of course in a different class. Good thing to me is the fast CPU and WiFi 7.
Price lowest so far afaicr, second lowest from my memory was $612 during 9.9

IMO probably if no need Snapdragon specifically, D8400 does every android based task almost as good as current gen chip

Getting the F7 Ultra i feel is if need a better cameras

Even discounting the whole 8 Elite cpu

50/50/32 triple cam for $530 i don't think got much SG phone competing

Photography 15T only the closest, better main but telephoto and ultrawide should be F7U's
Videography, i think the 8 Elite isp and raw computing power should be flat out too strong, 8k. 4k60(tele)

The only catch is 256GB Storage. If not I will buy it...

512GB version out of stock.

The specs on their website only mention support for 2.4 and 5 GHz, so it will be Wi-Fi 7 without the 6 GHz band.

However, there is a thread on Reddit where someone mentioned that after a new update last month, the 6ghz band became available. You might want to check and confirm whether it is true if the 6ghz band is important to you, or perhaps existing Ultra users can confirm that.

Good info. Thanks. Dual band WiFi 7 is okay for me. I want to test out MLO function.

I am not buying it after all since 512GB version is out of stock.

Missing eSIM support is another minor thing, looks like a common missing feature for Poco phones released in Singapore.
I personally think the 15T is a better deal if u use ur phone for a long time. guranteed updates to 2031, better camera, ESIM etc etc etc. and 2 yrs warranty too.

Good news... I just saw Poco Pad price at $177... bad news... all sold out.. .

I think it is cheap because the Poco Pad was launched last year, and the EOL support for Xiaomi's devices launched before 2025 tends to be very short; this model is probably halfway through its committed support duration.

The Redmi Pad 2, launched this year, with a far inferior G100 processor, got support all the way until 2032 simply due to Xiaomi changing its product support terms this year, so I will probably wait for the next Poco Pad.

I am not sure whether there is any truth in this. But I am more interested in knowing whether can it do hotspot using the 6ghz band.

You mean to say Xiaomi 15T Pro, right? That is the one with flagship CPU better than Poco F7 Ultra.

Or you mean the mid range Xiaomi 15T?

worth to buy poco pad now? or wait for poco pad m1?
POCO Pad is good, POCO Pad M1 no specs yet IIRC.
So hard to advise what's a better choice, but purely on OS support, then POCO Pad already half way into the coffin. :o

But then sold out from the earlier sales before 11.11 started. :s13:

Poco Pad very popular today, two batches of sales all sold out very fast, especially the second batch. I think it is gone within a few seconds.

Not fast-handed enough...
